Black Men

Black men in Black suits
Am I helping them spread their black truths?
Like serpents they sliver through the darkness
Hearts as cold as coal
And so they roam

Just waiting to be taken home
The paradox of this situation
They have to embark upon the coldest of roads
So that they can finally arrive

Will they be discovered soon?
Will there still be room?
For new heights for them to reach
I know I preach
Feeling the need
So we could breed
A new era of men
Where the skies are as clear as day
And the only thing we see
Is the Milky way
