There is weakness in being powerful
And there is power in being weak
Misguided use of these
Can lead to either or
Then You are stuck in a polarity
In much need of clarity
Sense of self
And healthy boundaries
But do those things gracefully
And You are powerfully humble
Notching up points for love
Keeping score for God
You turn into Santa Claus
For Yourself
And after a while
You are just You
The way You intended it to be
A fair deal, I would say
Now let’s just watch the rain
While we’re both sane
