Turbulence

In the turbulence of Your own being
You will moments within which
It is hard for You to grasp, hold onto something
Everything beneath You has gone
And there is no solid surface to stand on
This, if perceived from the emotional mind
Will cause You pain
We like security, safety
But like all good things they exist beyond the insecurities that might have a hold of Your being
Take notice of those moments
What happens?
How do You react, feel?
You will learn a great deal from this
A death of sorts

Death has never been comfortable for me
Everything solid seems to evaporate into thin air
There is nothing left
But if I am in that long enough
Some magic happens
I find a piece of myself
Lost long ago
Or God presents itself in a variety of ways
