Seasons change
As do the lovers themselves
Their hair will turn gray
Their hearts will burn slower
But with a flame that’s stronger
It is mellow at its core
True love and what’s more
Lovers will be there for one another
On some days its simple
On others, they will be greeted by their respective mothers
Funnily those meetings can be fine as well
In the eyes of true lovers
Beauty is found from deep within
Sought after
With respectful vigor
In the eyes of a lover
Sleeping has new meaning
Greeting it with newfound respect
And honor
Because the eyes of lovers
Rest in different colors
Witnessing life with grace
And kissing one another good night
