One of the Biggest Misconceptions

One of the biggest misconceptions in spiritual growth is that You will “arrive” someday and it will be complete.

It is always complete and never complete.

Let me explain further.

Once You arrive at Your desired place for the moment, the next thing will arrive.

This experience is an experience of constant growth and contraction. And the contraction turning into growth.

For example, enlightenment or financial freedom. The first one is spiritual and the second one is more material. Both are actually similar in nature. Because they are junctures on Your path.

Once You arrive at financial freedom, what do You think will happen? It will all make sense finally and You can “live” Your life peacefully?

Of course not. The next thing will appear.

This is not an excuse to not go towards financial freedom. On the contrary, go for it. But remember, it will not bring You everlasting peace and a sense of “arrival”. This reality is not built like that.

Same with enlightenment. You can arrive there, see and feel that all is one. And live it. But the next thing will again appear.

The sense of “arrival” will only last for a very short period of time. Until You have to grow once more.
