It seems
At times when I’m most cornered by life
I’m called to find
Something deeper
That still resides
Or has always resided
Within me
A stronghold
of mental capacity
Stirs my soul
And I find myself
Searching for gold
Once again
When it’s deeper
My soul knows
Deeply, truly knows
The strengths of which I hold
Deep within me so
I’m just hoping
That I will find them glow
Hopefully, tomorrow knows
