A short post on personal aspects while trading. Reminder, research is still ongoing, or always ongoing. These are things I have picked up on during approx. 3 years while following these and executing trades (not a full-time trader).
Positive personal aspects (Jupiter and Venus related or even Mercury, Sun, etc., and trines, sextiles) don’t always guarantee positive results. Conjunctions are even more difficult = can lead to losses. What they do is make the person feel more optimistic, feel-good transits. But yes, it is true that they bring more opportunities and even let us call them easier opportunities. But risk and other factors should be evaluated before entering the trade. As well as managing the trade in between. There’s a tendency to get overly optimistic with these positive, feel-good transits. Making the trader thus risk too much even and add to the trade when there’s no reason = a big no-no in my opinion and very easy to do.
Just think about the meaning of Jupiter and how it makes You feel and even risk. Venus is slightly easier to manage. With both it is easier to justify in Your head “Venus or Jupiter will help me; this trade will become a winner” or something similar. Even though You can rationally see that there’s a high probability of it becoming a loser. Look for supporting and grounding aspects from Saturn for example to balance it out. Again, trines, and sextiles. Conjunctions are so and so = must be really experienced with the energy of Saturn to know how to channel it and this takes time.
Mars conjunctions to important house cusps or house rulers are extremely difficult to handle. Risk is usually full on and courage to take on the trade is at all-time highs. I’m talking about the 5th, 8th, and 11th houses. Be very careful with these. Trines and sextiles with Mars are somewhat easier but need to be careful because Mars throws all caution to the wind.
To summarize with positive aspects and conjunctions = don’t assume that it will just give You things and You don’t have to make decisions, manage trades. Although, somewhat easier to do.
With negative aspects (squares, oppositions) involving malefics (Saturn or Mars) or even the so-called positive planets in difficult aspects, it is much harder to make good decisions. And You will feel crappier while doing it. For example, with Saturn fear is always a factor. With Pluto, emotional pain and sometimes deeper fear involved. Being scared for now reason, thinking the market is manipulated and it’s happening to You. You can imagine how difficult it is to make good decisions during these transits.
Furthermore, it demands more of Your attention to make money and to not lose money during these transits. But it doesn’t automatically mean that You are going to lose money. Rather, more difficult to make it and easier to lose it. Just because Your decision-making is “out of sorts” and Your emotional life is inflicted by the difficult transits.
For the more curious ones, evaluate the condition of planets in Your natal chart as well as the transiting planets for more clues. As well as look at easier and harder transits to balance things out. You might have a Venus square Uranus but Jupiter is transiting the 5th house cusp which is stronger than the very short Venus to Uranus transit.
