It all starts with simple things
Simple conversations
Glances that last for a short second
That can turn into
A lifetime of joy, love and happiness
The defining moments
Of my life
Have all started with something small
A calling from within
Turned into action on the outside
These roads have been challenging
Full of hurt and pain as well
I’m seeing now
How they’ve served me
How they’ve filled me up
Because it’s life
It knows
It has answers
I just have to listen to them
Now I will sit in silence
Amidst all the chaos and busyness
And listen to my soul
Until I glow and feel ready to roam
The streets once more
