I fail silently
When no one is around
I scream of agony
When I hit the ground
Failure is painful
It’s restless
It comes and goes
But the pain of it keeps on lurking
It rarely makes a sound
It is I who makes it
No power left
To lift me up
I sometimes smile
My heart breaks at the same time
I’m afraid
That my failure will make You leave
Failure doesn’t like company
It succeeds in loneliness
So here I sit
Soaked in my victimhood
Too soon
To see some good
In this vicious cycle
Tomorrow maybe
Although, unlikely
