Mother used to eat “the good” things from this person = they were deeply hurt about this.
Now every time someone eats something from the fridge = the same pain triggers = fear of losing love in the form of food.
In adulthood, causes problems with close relationships = start yelling at and shaming family members because they ate the food.
The solution as always:
Feel the fear, be intimate with this fear = grieve and forgive the one who hurt You.
Open up to close ones = ask them to fill You in if they are going to eat some of the food they know You like = this will be necessary only for the beginning stages of healing.
Start going through the fear and being ok with it.
Give Yourself the love You believe You lost.
