The insufferable emptiness
That seems to follow me everywhere I go
Sings me songs of hollowness
The words shrieking in my ears
So painfully loud, so achingly unignorable
The steps that I take
To fill the emptiness made
By the nature of this experience stay
Somewhere lurking, into the past I fade
It’s full of pain
From keeping myself going insane
I lay
Next, to people, I rely on to be safe
Is this You and I babe?
Hopefully, this will not be too late
And we can stay awake
Lye under each other’s arms
Until we find the answers
Calling us from the stars
Painfully from afar
