The belonging
Of which You have known
Growing
Although not complete
Is a journey
Towards discovery, forever
Incomplete
Dear God
Look into my eyes and see
The strength and perseverance
I am a good boy, You must see
Torn still by the temptress of gold
Becoming holy, why does it seem so unholy?
The masquerade is played
With few it remains
To be seen
With energy put towards creation
Creation of a new man
Although worn out by his own ever deepening sadness
Keeps going
To tell the stories yet untold
Booming with pride that
He keeps making it outside
