Inside for myself
Pain rooted so deeply in my consciousness
I cannot breathe, I cannot even think
Before I react
Reactions bring pain
Pain for myself and others
I hopefully can breathe
Tomorrow anew, a new dawn
The curtains of hope will once again rise
And fall when the day is done
